A Whitefish Bay postal carrier was arrested at the North Shore Post Office and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior, several days after he delivered mail to a woman on his route sans his official postal uniform–or any other clothing.

A police report says the 52-year-old man told the woman he would deliver the mail to her office in Whitefish Bay completely naked to make her laugh, and she dared him to do it. He claimed he simply wanted to cheer the woman up, as she seemed “stressed out.”

Still, the man admitted, delivering the mail in the nude was a stupid thing to do.
